Get real-world training and nationally recognised skills in:

  • Front End Loader
  • Excavator
  • Skid Steer Loader

You'll learn how to safely operate each machine across a range of site conditions while developing skills in task planning, using attachments, relocating equipment, maintaining machinery, and keeping the work area safe and compliant.

This course includes three nationally recognised units:

  • RIIMPO321F – Conduct Civil Construction Wheel Loader Operations
  • RIIMPO320F – Conduct Civil Construction Excavator Operations
  • RIIMPO318F – Conduct Civil Construction Skid Steer Loader Operations

Knowledge based assessment and practical skills assessment

Pre-requisites

Learners must have basic English literacy skills.

If required by the employer or by site management, or if you are required to drive these machine on a gazetted road, the candidate must already hold a Heavy Rigid (HR) Motor Vehicle Driving License, however it is not required to complete the course.

Academic Award & Recognition

Upon successful completion of all aspects, learners will be issued with the following nationally recognised statement of attainment:

  • RIIMPO318F Conduct civil construction skid steer loader operations
  • RIIMPO320F Conduct civil construction excavator operations

CTF Pricing For Eligible Customers

$806.00 - This subsidised rate is available to eligible companies under our bulk billing arrangement with the Construction Training Fund (CTF).

Individuals may still be eligible for the subsidy; however, they must submit their claims directly to CTF, as we are unable to claim on their behalf. For more information about the individual claim process, please contact the CTF directly.

CTF provides funding support to assist with the training of eligible workers in the construction industry. We acknowledge the CTF’s contribution in helping reduce training costs for eligible participants.

Day 1 will be located at our West Swan site and day 2 & 3 will be located at the Nowergup site.

What To Wear

All course participants are required to wear long sleeve pants, a long sleeve shirt and steel cap boots.

Feel free to grab a tea, coffee or snack before the course starts and during the course breaks.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch as it is NOT provided.
Vending machines are available at our West Swan site.
