Aim of this Course / Target Group
Don’t Just Work at Heights — Work Safely at Heights.
Falls from height remain one of the leading causes of serious injury on worksites — but with the right training, you can prevent them. Our Working at Heights Course gives you the knowledge and hands-on experience to operate safely and confidently in elevated environments.
*Note: This course does not provide EWP licence certification.
Ideal for:
- Anyone required to work at height — including construction workers, mining workers, maintenance crews, warehouse staff, and installers
Course Content
This course is based on the requirements outlined in the Regulations, Codes of Practice and Standards applicable to any person required to work at heights for any reason and includes:
- Safe work systems and practices to prevent falls
- Identification of hazards, assessing and addressing risks
- Selection, fitting, use, care, maintenance and storage of PPE
- Selection, use, care, storage of tools and equipment to be used
- Emergency response procedures; and
- Safe methods of working on brittle and fragile material
Assessment Method
Knowledge based questionnaires and practical demonstration
Pre-requisites
Must have basic English literacy skills
Academic Award & Recognition
Upon successful completion participants will be issued with the following Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment:

CTF Pricing For Eligible Customers
$88.50 - This subsidised rate is available to eligible companies under our bulk billing arrangement with the Construction Training Fund (CTF).
Individuals may still be eligible for the subsidy; however, they must submit their claims directly to CTF, as we are unable to claim on their behalf. For more information about the individual claim process, please contact the CTF directly.
CTF provides funding support to assist with the training of eligible workers in the construction industry. We acknowledge the CTF’s contribution in helping reduce training costs for eligible participants.

What To Wear
All course participants are required to wear long sleeve pants, a long sleeve shirt and steel cap boots.
Morning Tea & Lunch
Feel free to grab a tea, coffee or snack before the course starts and during the course breaks.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch as it is NOT provided.
Vending machines are available at our West Swan site.
