Accidents can happen anytime, anywhere — be the one who knows what to do. Our Provide First Aid Course (HLTAID011) gives you the essential, life-saving skills to respond confidently to a wide range of medical emergencies.

Course Content
The program addresses the following:
- Personal Safety Procedures
- Priorities in an Emergency
- Life Support – the D.R.S.A.B.C.D. Approach
- Managing the Unconscious
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (C.P.R)
- Rescue Breathing
- Defibrillation
- Managing Major Response, Airway, Breathing and Circulation Problems
- Recovery Position.
- Remote Area First Aid
- Accident and Illness Prevention
Assessment Method
Knowledge based questionnaires and practical demonstration
Pre-requisites
Must have basic English literacy skills
Academic Award & Recognition
Upon successful completion participants will be issued with a ‘First Aider’ wallet card and the following Statement of Attainment, which will be recognised nationally:
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

CTF Pricing For Eligible Customers
$66.00 - This subsidised rate is available to eligible companies under our bulk billing arrangement with the Construction Training Fund (CTF).
Individuals may still be eligible for the subsidy; however, they must submit their claims directly to CTF, as we are unable to claim on their behalf. For more information about the individual claim process, please contact the CTF directly.
CTF provides funding support to assist with the training of eligible workers in the construction industry. We acknowledge the CTF’s contribution in helping reduce training costs for eligible participants.

First Aid tickets are required to be refreshed every 3 years
CPR tickets are required to be refreshed every 12 months
What To Wear
All course participants are required to wear neat casual clothing and enclosed shoes.
Morning Tea & Lunch
Feel free to grab a tea, coffee or snack before the course starts and during the course breaks.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch as it is NOT provided.
